Legacy Hospice's Bereavement Program provides families with grief support for 14 months after the death of a loved one. The first year following the death of someone you love can be a very difficult time and we want you to know you are not alone. Having a strong support system in place is an integral part of the healing process. Our Bereavement Program is designed around the unique needs of each family. After the death of your loved one, you will receive a phone call from one of our bereavement professionals to follow up on any questions or concerns you may have. Services may include:
- Phone calls
- Individual grief support
- Support groups
- Workshops
- Monthly Newsletters
Our current support group meets every Tuesday at 11:00am and 7:00pm and every Thursday at 1:00pm at our office, 680 S. Progressive Ave Suite 2A, Meridian, Idaho. The Bereavement Department also coordinates an annual Memorial Service held in memory of all our patients who died over the past year. This is a time to gather with other families and our staff members to reflect and remember. Please call our office at (208)895-8686 if you have any questions.
